WMS Solution Specialist

As an WMS Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing logistics systems in our greenfield coldstore warehouses and optimizing existing warehouse operations.

WMS Solution Specialist

As a Project Information Specialist you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of our information management framework across global development projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that information standards, data structures, and documentation processes are correctly applied within our digital ecosystem — primarily through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

What will you do?

  • Defining Logistic Warehouse Processes: Collaborate with customers to define and design efficient warehouse processes tailored to their needs. This includes understanding the specific requirements of each customer, mapping out workflows, and ensuring that the processes align with best practices and industry standards.

  • Configuration: Configure our WMS or other Logistics systems to meet the specific needs of each warehouse. This involves setting up the system parameters and ensuring that the system integrates seamlessly with other logistics and supply chain applications, like Transport Management and Data Analytics applications.

  • Describing and Testing New Functionalities: Document new functionalities and enhancements within the WMS. Conduct thorough testing to ensure that these functionalities work as intended and meet the users’ requirements. This includes creating test cases, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and addressing any issues or bugs that arise.

  • Training Key Users: Train key users in the warehouse on the effective use of the WMS. Develop training materials, conduct hands-on training sessions, and provide ongoing support to ensure that users are proficient in using the system and can troubleshoot common issues independently.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations. Analyze performance data, gather feedback from users, and implement changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the warehouse.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management systems, including hands-on experience with WMS implementation and optimization.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in logistics and WMS are a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of WMS configuration, system integrations, and optimization. Proficiency in using WMS software and tools, as well as other logistics management systems.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and training skills, with the ability to interact with customers, team members, and key users in a clear and professional manner.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with customers and team members, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.

  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in logistics and warehouse management systems.
