Testimonials

Sander Theunis, Business Controller Netherlands

After completing my master's internship at NewCold, I began my full-time career as a Business Controller Netherlands

My journey at NewCold began as a side job in the finance department, where I gained valuable experience in accounts payable management and process improvement. At the time, I was in my second year of studying Business Administration.

Balancing work and studies was seamless, thanks to the flexibility and independence NewCold provided. In my final year, I completed my graduation internship at the company, focusing on automation opportunities within accounts payable practices.

When pursuing my master’s in Supply Chain Management, selecting a thesis company was an easy decision. I returned to NewCold, where my thesis within the Agile Project Management Office explored end-to-end supply chain solutions supported by Industry 4.0 technologies.

Mascha Jansen, Agile PMO Assistant

Between the two internships, I continued working part-time at NewCold as an Agile PMO Assistant, a role I still hold while pursuing my master’s degree.

In early 2022, I began my journey at NewCold with an internship during my second year of International Business studies. My initial focus was on researching the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) regulations and assessing their implications for NewCold. This experience gave me valuable insights into working in a corporate environment and contributing to an ongoing project.

For my graduation internship, I joined the Business Development department at NewCold’s Chicago office. There, I wrote my thesis on integrating sustainability into the business case. The project deepened my understanding of business development strategies and strengthened my skills in financial modeling and sustainable business practices.

Between the two internships, I continued working part-time at NewCold as an Agile PMO Assistant, a role I still hold while pursuing my master’s degree. I truly value this opportunity, as it has allowed me to stay connected to the company and continue growing with it.

I learned that the biggest efficiency gains don’t come from just standardizing documents, but from aligning the people and processes behind them.
